These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website slmassagetherapy.com (the "Site") and the booking of massage therapy services with Salt Lake Orthopedic Massage Therapy, operated by Bryan Lindquist, LMT ("we," "us," "our"), located inside Flow Acupuncture at 1204 E South Temple, Salt Lake City, UT 84102. By using the Site or booking a session, you agree to these Terms.
We provide clinical massage therapy, including orthopedic massage, manual lymphatic drainage, oncology-informed massage, craniosacral therapy, Reiki, and Jin Shin Jyutsu. Massage therapy is a wellness and complementary care service. It is not a substitute for medical diagnosis, treatment, or advice from a licensed physician or other qualified healthcare provider. Always consult your doctor about any medical condition, recent surgery, or active cancer treatment before and during a course of massage care, and share relevant health history with us at intake so your session can be planned safely.
Appointments are booked through our scheduling partner, MassageBook, linked from this Site. MassageBook's own terms and privacy policy govern the information you submit there and any payment processed through that platform. We don't directly process or store payment card information on this Site.
Appointments can't be cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours' notice before the scheduled appointment time. If you're unable or unwilling to reschedule within that window, you may forfeit your payment. In some cases, an exception can be made with notice.
Massage therapy involves physical touch and manual techniques applied to the body. As with any hands-on therapy, there is a range of possible responses, including temporary soreness or discomfort. You are responsible for disclosing accurate and complete health information, including surgeries, injuries, cancer treatment status, pregnancy, and any condition that may affect the safety of your session. We reserve the right to decline or modify a session, or refer you back to your physician, if a condition presents a safety concern.
Clients must be 18 or older to book independently. Minors may be seen only with the written consent of, and in the presence of, a parent or legal guardian, at our discretion.
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and not to interfere with its normal operation, attempt unauthorized access to any part of it, or submit false or misleading information through any form or chat feature on the Site.
The text, images, logo, and design of this Site are owned by Salt Lake Orthopedic Massage Therapy or used under license and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without permission.
This Site links to or embeds third-party tools, including MassageBook (scheduling), a chat widget (client communication), and a Google Maps embed (directions). We're not responsible for the content, availability, or privacy practices of these third-party services. Please review their respective terms and privacy policies.
To the fullest extent permitted by Utah law, Salt Lake Orthopedic Massage Therapy and Bryan Lindquist, LMT, shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or our services, beyond the amount paid for the session at issue. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Salt Lake County, Utah.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Effective date" above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
