Craniosacral Therapy in
Salt Lake City
Subtle, nervous-system-focused bodywork.
What it is
Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a light-touch modality working with the membranes and fluid that surround the brain and spinal cord — the craniosacral system. Practitioners use touch so gentle it's often measured in grams of pressure to identify and ease restrictions in this system, which in turn supports healthier function of the central nervous system.
CST is not a belief system. It's a specific, trained technique with defined hand positions, listening skills, and a small number of clinically-described evaluations and releases.
Who this is for
— Chronic or episodic migraine
— TMJ dysfunction, jaw tension, bruxism
— Post-concussion syndrome
— Nervous-system dysregulation, anxiety, PTSD symptoms
— Sleep difficulty and insomnia
— Chronic tension patterns that don't respond to deeper bodywork
— Somatic processing of stress and past trauma (alongside appropriate mental-health care)
What a session looks like
You remain fully clothed and rest on the table. I work at the feet, sacrum, spine, neck, and cranium — placing hands lightly on or just above specific anatomical landmarks and listening. Sessions are quiet; most clients shift into a deeply relaxed state within 5–10 minutes.
Many clients feel effects unfold over the 24–72 hours after a session — deeper sleep, reduced tension, shifts in mood or posture.
Pricing
Sessions from $125 / 60 minutes. 90-minute sessions available.
