Energy-based sessions with a Reiki Master and clinical practitioner.
What Reiki Is
Reiki is a gentle, energy-based practice originating in Japan in the early 20th century. During a session you remain fully clothed and rest on a treatment table. I place my hands lightly on or just above specific positions on the body. The work is quiet and still. Many clients notice warmth, a sense of settling, or deep calm during a session.
Reiki is a complementary practice — not a substitute for medical care — and integrates well alongside conventional treatment.
Why Work With Me for Reiki
I've been practicing and teaching Reiki for over 20 years as a Reiki Master. I'm currently a provider on a clinical research study at Huntsman Cancer Institute examining the effects of Reiki with brachytherapy patients — work that shapes how I approach every session. Grounded, clinically aware, and without the hyperbolic framing that sometimes surrounds this modality.
If you've been put off by how Reiki is often presented, this may be a different experience.
Who It's For
— Clients seeking deep relaxation and nervous system regulation
— People navigating serious illness, including active cancer treatment
— Sensitive or medically fragile clients for whom bodywork would be too much
— Clients who want Reiki held by a therapist who respects both energy work and conventional medicine
What a Session Looks Like
You remain fully clothed on the treatment table. I work through a series of hand positions — lightly on or just above the body — progressing at a quiet, unhurried pace. Sessions are typically 60 minutes. Reiki can also be integrated into a longer massage appointment if you're combining modalities.
Pricing
Sessions from $125 / 60 minutes. Available as a standalone session or integrated into a longer appointment.
Related Services
Reiki pairs naturally with Craniosacral Therapy and Jin Shin Jyutsu for clients seeking gentle, nervous-system-focused work. It is also regularly integrated into Oncology Massage sessions.
