Hospice Massage
In-Home Care
Compassionate, gentle touch for individuals living with serious or life-limiting illness.
About this work
Hospice and palliative massage is a distinct practice focused on comfort, not cure. Sessions are delivered at the patient's home, hospice facility, or hospital room — wherever they are — and are designed to support pain management, reduce physical discomfort, ease symptoms of stress and anxiety, and offer the kind of gentle, respectful touch that supports both patient and family through end-of-life transitions.
My work in this space is informed by my clinical training at Huntsman Cancer Institute's Wellness & Integrative Medicine Center, where I work with inpatient oncology populations — including many patients in late-stage care.
What I can offer
— In-home visits throughout the Salt Lake City area and greater Wasatch Front
— Coordination with hospice nurses, chaplains, and family caregivers
— Gentle comfort-touch work tailored to the patient's current state
— Support for family members also present — caregivers carry enormous physical load
— Jin Shin Jyutsu and Reiki incorporated when appropriate
How to request a visit
The simplest path is to reach out directly — call (801) 382-7931 or send a message describing the situation and the hospice or care team involved. I can coordinate directly with the hospice organization or family as appropriate. Visits can often be scheduled within a few days; urgent requests are accommodated when possible.
Related services
Many hospice families also request Reiki and Jin Shin Jyutsu for comfort care.
